Watch the video to see what a few of our team members have done planning their home gardens. The beauty of tulips is, you can plant your beds however you like! Or, let's put it this way, even if you don't know, and want to "wing it" by dreaming up new combinations, or laying into the ground a jumble of tulips you think are pretty, you won't be disappointed!  Part of the joy of gardening is waiting for the surprises nature has in store for you. And tulips and their vibrant color just burst with joy no matter if they are carefully placed in single beds, in mono-chromatic groups, or in a kaleidoscopic array like .... 

Has this ever happened to you -"I would like to order some bulbs. I planted 50 of your bulbs last year and they all came up. But, before they had a chance to bloom something came along and ate the flowers. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'd like to plant more but don't want to just feed the critters."

In honor of International Cookie Day, Team Tulip wanted to share several of our favorite recipes, and a video of traditional Dutch Speculaas Cookies made by Keriann and Kees! This is a fun way to try some new recipes during your holiday baking season. Enjoy!

Briune Bonen Soep or Brown Bean Soup doesn't sound that tasty and there are few Dutchies that remember enjoying it growing up but with a few tweaks to the recipe I have converted the most skeptical of Hollanders who, upon eating it, exclaim that they have never had Bruine Bonen Soep taste so delicious or Lekker, as they say in Dutch.
