OUR JOHNSTON FARM IS OPENING SOON!

Season Length:

Tickets are not yet available. Stay tuned! We’ll open ticket sales as soon as our bloom dates are confirmed. We predict to open the week of April 22nd. We only sell tickets for the dates we are confident we can "wow" you! Each season is unique, typically spanning 14-18 days—sometimes even more, sometimes less. Mother Nature is tricky to predict!

April 17th, 2024 Lots of buds are ready to bloom in Preston. We hope to open mid or late next week!

 ~ 2023 SEASON BELOW ~

May 12th, 2023 It is the last day of the season :(Unfortunately we won't be open for Mothers Day.

It was our longest season ever! 5.5 weeks! Opening day was April 5th at our Exeter RI location. Preston CT opened April 19th and Johnston RI opened April 27th. Our Johnston location lasted only 16 days.

Below an image of some exciting late season tulips!

May 9th, 2023 still lots of gorgeous tulip available to pick! Starting May 9th, each adult will receive 15 tulips (instead of 10), so you can pick some extra tulips for mom! This is valid for both locations. Our goal is always make our guests very happy at every visit. And the truth is, that our fields aren't looking as "wow" anymore after these warmer days and big crowds picking the fields.

May 8th, 2023 We have exciting news! Starting May 9th, each adult will receive 5 extra tulips. So you can pick some extra tulips for mom!  Unfortunately we are not going to make it until Mother's Day... We are going to close May 12th. There are still plenty beautiful tulips left for picking, but there are also areas with flowers either bloomed out of picked over. The show garden is still very beautiful!

Pictures below are from Monday May 8th.

Still plenty beauty left!

The front area is picked over...

May 6th, 2023 The show garden is in full bloom in Johnston RI! And the u-pick field is gorgeous, pretty much all the late tulips are in bloom. After the weekend we plan to add tickets for Mother's Day!

May 3rd, 2023  We have beautiful cool weather, the tulips love it! We will have a nice long season and most likely are open until Mother's Day or even longer. We just put tickets un sale until Friday May 12th. Tickets for Mother's Day will go on sale as soon we are confident that the field is looking gorgeous and wow-worthy!

May 1st, 2023 We moved our photo prop tractor to Johnston. The field is looking prettier every day. Hope to see you soon!

April 28th, 2023 Good news! We opened up ticket sales for this weekend at both farms! It looks like during the day it will just drizzle a bit. We don’t expect muddy conditions in fields or in our parking lot.

Did you know that all adult tickets include 10-pick tulips? Additional tulips are $1/stem.

April 26, 2023 We open in Johnston RI tomorrow! We'll only sell tickets for Thursday & Friday, weekend tickets might go on sale Friday. We evaluate the parking situation. Weather prediction says it may heavy rain and we want to be sure all is fine so your visit is a good one.

April 25, 2023  - We're opening Johnston for U-Pick for Thursday & Friday, April 27 & 28th!  Tickets to go on sale Wednesday.

April 21, 2023 Definitely color showing in Johnston! Just a little longer until we have big enough percentage of tulips in bloom to get that wow experience

April 20th More and more color in Johnston - we are looking forward to more of these barn pictures!

April 13th First tulip in bloom at our Wicked Tulips Johnston RI farm!

Beautiful barn pictures again this year!

March 8th, 2023 Some crocus we planted back in 2017 are coming up :)

November 11th, 2022 before we planted the bulbs we made raised beds at this farm.

November 11th, 2022 This is the planter we used at our Johnston farm. It is called the "Koningsplanter" which means "King Planter" :)

November 5th, 2022 We are very excited to be back at our Johnston farm!

We can’t wait to return this year and visit Johnston for the first time. Our grandson, Leroy, is 5. He started tulip picking in Exeter at the age of 3—some of the tulips were bigger than he was! What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Thank you
