NEW employees:
Must fill out W4, I9, the state W4 for the state you live in and Direct Deposit forms. You will need to bring the required ID verification documentation for your I-9 to Orientation or your first day of work.


RETURNING employees:
Every year we need a new W-4 and the state W4 for the state you live in. You only need to fill out page 4 of the I9. You fill out your name at the top and a manager will sign and fill out the bottom. No identification is needed unless you have a name change or an updated passport.

You will receive your t-shirt, name tag, turn in any necessary forms, etc. 

Note: There will not be a separate one for Johnston. If there are any changes to orientation due to weather, etc, we will send out an email.  If the weather looks iffy on orientation days, please be sure to check email before you head out.

 This is totally optional and is only for fun and will not be used for any important event information.

We encourage you to use this platform for more social interactive communication.

And to clarify, Home Base should only be used for shift coverage requests or team shout-outs, that we will use for recognition at our End of Season Party. Remember every time you comment on Home Base, a notification goes out to 200+ employees. That's why we want to save it for the important stuff.

Customer service is our first priority, so visitors can enjoy the fields and navigate tulip picking, parking, pricing and more with comfort and happiness.  We want for everyone who visits our fields to have a special experience. We need you to know the details so you can be a truly outstanding Team Tulips member.

 Sweatshirt and Extra T-shirt order. 

*The order time has ended but I did order a few extra. Email me at inga@wickedtulips.com and I'll see if I have the size you want* 

We are ordering hooded and full zip orange sweatshirts for those that are interested.  Also, I've included an extra work t-shirt. This is purely optional. 

Hooded Sweatshirt: For sizing, we recommend ordering at least one size up.  The cost is $20 (2XL & 3XL are $22)

Full-zip sweatshirt: For sizing: Runs true to size.  The cost is $31 (2XL & 3XL are $33)

Extra work T-shirt: For sizing: Runs true to size. So base it on if you'll be layering under it or not. The cost is $10 (2XL & 3XL are $12). Everyone gets a new shirt every year- this would only be if you want an additional one.

You can pick up and pay in cash at orientation or on your first day.  



Shift Coverage:

It is your responsibility to get a replacement if you are unable to cover your shift. You would send a message to the Entire Team using the Home Base app. 

When requesting someone to cover your shift (it doesn't matter if you are paid or a volunteer)- please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Which farm - Exeter/Preston/Johnston
  • Your day and shift
  • Position that needs to be filled 

Once someone accepts your shift , Nancy will approve it. For any scheduling questions, email Nancy at nancy@wickedtulips.com and give her the above information - including who's covering for you.

Paid Wrapping Donation Recommendations
Wicked Tulips is committed to helping our communities.  At our U-Pick this year, we will have our regular self-wrapping stations, as well as "paid wrapping" for visitors who want their bouquets wrapped by us.  There will be a small fee for this wrapping and we will be donating a portion to local charities.  We know that you, our team, also care about the communities we live in and so we want to know about local charities that are important to you.  Please help us by recommending where we should donate this money through this form!



Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is committed to giving back to the community. Our Tulips for Love and Hope tulip donation program is currently seeking nominations of local people and nonprofits who provide hope and love to the people they serve everyday.
