Life in
Full Bloom

You came for the tulips. You brought your whole hearts. This year's photo contest reminded us why we do what we do — and we couldn't be more grateful.

Every spring the fields come alive — not just with color, but with life. Proposals, babies, milestones, memories, and a whole lot of joy squeezed into every single row. You submitted thousands of photos this season, and choosing our favorites was genuinely one of the hardest things we've had to do. Here's what rose to the top.

Big life moments

Milestones among the tulips

Our fields have a way of calling people back for their most important moments — the ones that deserve to be remembered. Here are some of the celebrations that made this year's entries truly special.

Kailey Paiva engagement

Engagement
"I turned around and saw the love of my life on one knee"
Kailey and Dan got engaged right here in our fields last April — and if you look at her face, you can see the exact moment her whole world changed. She had no idea. They plan to come back every year on their engagement anniversary, and honestly, we'll be counting down too. Congratulations, you two.
Baby announcement
Baby Kliphon, coming November 2025
Lauren and her partner couldn't think of a more magical place to announce their first baby — so they hung a tiny onesie and an ultrasound photo between the rows and let the tulips do the rest. Baby Kliphon is going to have quite the entrance.

Graduation
A full circle moment at URI
Hillary's high school friend photographed her graduation from the University of Rhode Island right here in the fields — flowers as a symbol of growth, new beginnings, and all the color still ahead. The same photographer captured her high school graduation too. Some friendships are just built for the long run.
Newborn
Baby's first trip to the tulips
Beverly brought her brand new baby to the fields for the very first time — eyes closed, hat slightly too big, perfectly content in the middle of thousands of blooms. This is what spring is made for. Welcome to the world, little one. We can't wait to watch you grow up here.

Yearly tradition
Same fields. Growing up right before our eyes.
Marianne M. has been bringing her kids to the fields year after year — and watching these little ones grow through every single photo is one of the greatest joys of running this farm. From baby snuggles to matching denim jackets to full belly laughs in the rows, these kids are basically tulip royalty. We can't wait to see them again this spring. Photo: Marianne M.

Faces in the Flowers

It started with one perfectly timed shot from below — flowers overhead, blue sky behind, faces full of joy. Alexa Nuterangelo's shot sparked a movement, and before long our fields were full of people trying to top it. Here are our favorite entries.

More photos we loved

Choosing finalists meant leaving behind so many photos that stopped us mid-scroll. These are the ones we kept coming back to. Every single person who submitted this year — thank you. You made this impossibly hard and incredibly joyful.
